What kind of chocolate are Rok Blox made out of?

We make Rok Blox from fine Belgian couverture. We choose Callebaut because of its exceptional quality and its beautiful eating texture. White, milk, ruby, gold and orange are all amongst the Callebaut products we use.

What is a terrazzo blox?

Terrazzo blox are a combination of two or three different chocolates. Flavoured and coloured chips are set into a base chocolate, then the face is melted back to reveal the interesting terrazzo pattern.

Where do you get your flavour ideas?

We lay in bed at night imagining what flavours might go together in our blox, and then we try them out in our test kitchen.

Can Rok Blox be put in the fridge?

Rok Blox are very enjoyable when chilled in the fridge. Because they don't come with snap grooves like commercial chocolate, they're a little bit harder to break when cold. But don't let that stop you!

What flavours do you use in Rok Blox?

We use spicey teas like exotic chai, lemongrass and Earl Grey Tea, ground up as finely as possible. We also use a range of superfood powders like blue spirulina, Aronia berry, acai berry and pink pitaya powder to give you a wellness lift. We are trying out Aussie bush foods as well to give our blox a uniquely Australian twist.

Are Rok Blox gluten-free?

There is no gluten in chocolate, so unless a Rok Blox has biscuit or cereal added to it, it is 100% gluten-free.

Are there nuts in Rok Blox?

We make a selection of blox using almond, hazelnut and coconut. We avoid peanuts as so many people suffer from peanut allergies these days.

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

Rok Blox are wrapped in cello to ensure you can enjoy their visual appeal, but we box them in eco-friendly recyclable kraft boxes. We use recycled shredded kraft paper or honeycomb paper to pack Rok Blox for transport. Our shipping boxes are also recyclable.

How do you stop Rok Blox from melting during transport?

We wrap your packaged up Rok Blox in thermal bubble wrap to deflect heat. So far this has been extremely successful in the safe delivery of every Rok Blox.

Do you have a shop?

At this time Rok Blox does not have a shop. If demand increases and the pandemic recedes this may change.
